What is the Life You Always Wanted?

If you had to longer worry about money or the fact of finances again ever in your life.

What would you do with yourself?

This question had been asked to many different people, by me and many others, throughout history this has played a big part many of the most successful people in the world.

If you do not believe me go look it up and you will find many world dreamers who have come and gone. Who took action upon their passions, but merely taking action will not get you ahead either, unless you have a vision and plans and the willingness to follow systems and real plans of action.

F.A.C.E. this actually stand for Focus, Action, Commitment, Education.

How many times have you been face with F.A.C.E. and been told that you will need to apply or you will never get ahead. But if this is your first time hearig about this, then what you will want to do is write out what you want from your life.

I will start bring some more information to you over the next few days and will post some helpful articles and resources to help living a more fulfilled and energetic and productive life.

When the Going Gets Tough …Fire Your CEO First!

When the Going Gets Tough …Fire Your CEO First!

Dear Business-Builder,

When someone asks, “What do you do for a living?” there is only one correct answer.

It’s not, “I have a business.”  A business is something you own; not something you do.

It’s not “I’m a doctor.”  That’s just a profession – not what really pays the bills.

And it’s sure not, “I give investment advice.”  Or, “I do landscaping.”  Or, “I dry-clean clothes.”  Or, “I write sales copy.”  Those are just the products and services you sell.

The only correct answer to this most common cocktail-party question is to declare loudly and proudly …

“I’m a marketer!”

“My specialty is attracting new customers … persuading existing customers to make ever-larger purchases … convincing them to buy more often … and making sure they keep buying from me forever.”

I’m not quibbling here; the point I’m making is a crucial one.  Because your answer to the “What do you do?” question says a lot about how you think about your business or career.

And as long as you define yourself by what you own or by the sheepskin on your wall or by the product or service you sell – as long as you define yourself as anything but a marketer – you are setting yourself up to make huge mistakes in how you run your business that will limit your success.

Because every business and every non-profit organization is first and foremost a marketing enterprise.  Because nothing happens until the cash register rings.

So it amazes me that so many marketers structure their companies upside-down:  With MBAs, bean-counters and lawyers at the top and marketers forced to beg for resources.

In good times that’s a bad idea.  In bad times, it’s idiotic.

We’re now staring down the barrel of the worst holiday season in decades.  With unemployment surging, wary consumers are pinching their pennies, avoiding all but essential expenses.  And all around the globe, businesses are cutting costs like there’s no tomorrow.

But cost-cutting is only half of the equation.  In times like these, companies that find ways to introduce new efficiencies into their business process are most likely to survive.  And that means we can no longer afford to elevate bureaucrats and relegate the marketing department to second-place.

In times like these, we don’t need CEOs.  We need CMOs — Chief MARKETING Officers — running our companies:  People who make sure that attracting new customers, selling more to each customer and keeping customers buying longer are the top priorities of every employee — from the business owner right on down to the janitor.

Nor do we need budgets that restrict the amount of testing marketers are able to do — we need spending mandates that empower marketers to run every good idea up the flagpole to see how many prospects and customers salute.

My advice:  If you own a business or work for one, read this.  Then, read this.  Then, marshal the troops this week to brainstorm what you should be doing right now to put marketing first.

I’ll predict that one meeting will do more to help your company or your clients’ companies thrive than anything else you could possibly do this week.

This is an awesome article for some of us to use and but a lot of people still do not understand, they still prefer fancy titles over what you actually do and what industry you are in and also by how money you make. Remember we are all in marketing no matter what one may say and no matter how far you claim you are not, you really are.

What is Leverage?

What is Leverage?

Leverage is explained by webster in 2 ways which is the following

Leverage (noun)

as 1 : the action of a lever or the mechanical advantage gained by it 2 : power , effectiveness <trying to gain more political leverage> 3 : the use of credit to enhance one’s speculative capacity

Leverage

Main Entry:
2leverage
Function:
transitive verb
Inflected Form(s):
leveraged; leverag·ing
Date:
1957

1: to provide (as a corporation) or supplement (as money) with leverage ; also : to enhance as if by supplying with financial leverage2: to use for gain : exploit <shamelessly leverage the system to their advantage — Alexander Wolff>

Realistically if you put it all together you combine any numerous amounts of techniques, tactics, to get what you want. Hunh?

Ok let me put another way for you by actually addding a short list of things of which you can leverage but not limited to following list:

True and Real Assets

Time

Money

Contacts

Mailing List

Products  (Ebooks, Audio Ebooks, Videos Either on DVD or Downloadable online, Software)

Services (In Exchange for something else of equal or more value)

Content

Knowledge and Skills

Marketing Ability

Salesmanship

Alright I think that give you some kind of idea of what leverage is and how you can maximize your ability to achieve what you want, if you cannot do something find someone willing to partner with you and leverage each others ability to get things done.

Now choose someone where he fills in your weaknesses and you are able to fill his, that way you both are able to correct each other’s weakness through leverage, this will allow for you both to be a better structured and successful partnership.

If you have a group whereby you all lack the same abilities, find someone to help eliminate that gap of that group and you will see that your group will become so powerful through the art of Leverage.

So many people miss out on the real efforts and strength of what leverage can do for you both personally and business and as well as financially, friendships, etc.

All of it can deliver so much value to you and your goals, missions, plans.

This will be touched upon a little bit later on and should not be thought of as not valuable, because it will show you that you are not really using your head. Why do I say that here?

Think about all of the successful people who has come before us and are currently popping up all over the place, do you think that success just falls into their lap, no it doesn’t and if you believe that they are lucky, yes they maybe but not completely.

They used a variety of connections to the above list and helped them Leverage their past failures and turned them into successful leveraged leaders. Remember no matter who you are and what you do, even if you do not believe me, you are using leverage.

Do you use a alarm clock in the morning, tooth brush and tooth paste, fork to eat your food, keys to lock your door at night, I do believe I have given you a few examples here.

That’s how powerful Leverage is and how it can help you really achieve success.

Start thinking of ways of using the above list to start t achieve your desired lifestyle and take it from me, you will be hearing about how I am applying this strategy to both my personal and business lifestyles as well.

I have always loved this word but never really took that massive action that helps this really come alive for me until last year and now I am taking massive action and will unleash the power of leverage.

All the best,

Julio R. Mattos

“I’m a marketer!” or “I am a Marketer”

“I’m a marketer!”

“My specialty is attracting new customers … persuading existing customers to make ever-larger purchases … convincing them to buy more often … and making sure they keep buying from me forever.”

This was a part of explaination that Clayton Makepeace recently posted in his newsletter and has really made rethink about the fact that he mention’s some very juicy details and more on it shortly.

As for right now it had me really thinking over the course of the weekend, even though when your in business you are always a marketer but more into when you are a business owner you want to be sure you know what you really want from your business and also what your job really is.

Take care of yourself,

The Escape Of Business Owners Loosing Control

The Escape Of Business Owners Loosing Control

As a business owner you are faced with making sure you business is taking daily action to meet your business goals, whether that may simply mean increasing your business profits or if it means cutting costs for your business. Even though that this may come with a price tag, you must manage your company and try to prepare as best as you can your company plans.

We must escape the devastation that is taking place in the market place right now and we must also try our best to take care of our customers, employees, business partners, vendors and the list goes on. In business it’s all about keeping a balance between everyone and keeping your relationships strong, it seems like it is the only way a business can really stay a float anyways.

Also it seems that you must take care of all of your leadership roles and as well as the tasks that face the your business growth, you can always place yourself in the shoes of someone else but it doesn’t always mean that you will fully understand, so you must get out there and ask questions.

As of right now in writing this peace we see a lot of things taking place in the world, we are seeing banks closing, company owners looking for the back door to espape because they are loosing control of their businesses and as well as the growing growth gaps and main life’s blood of a business which is profits. We have seen a lot of greed and poor management and the use of money to invest in things that we believe will help give us the everlasting edge against our growing concerns of competition and the emotions of everyone looking for growth and change but never takes action.

Do not sit there and say you want something to happen, but you never take any kind of action, list the more that you feel you would like to be perfect the more you will realize that you will never make because you are just writing ideas down but are not Testing those ideas out or doing any kind of research.

Get Up and Taking Action Today and every day will allow you to fully be able to look back and be able to say, Yes, I did take action and I may have failed or succeed but the feelings that you will that you did something rather then saying you did nothing will always be better then nothing.

Look to improve yourself, your relationships and look to enjoy eveerything you have right now today, right at this moment, becuse everyday we are seeing the escape of business owners loosing control of everything they ever had and a lot of others loosing their shirts in there businesses.

Remove yourself for a few moments each day for brainstorming and testing everything that you feel that is not working and take action on those ideas, through the use of testing and using all of the different advertising channels to Awake the Sleeping Giant of Action that await’s you in the short-term and as well as the long-term.

All the best,

Mr. Julio Mattos

Daily Business Journey: Becoming A Successful Entrepreneur

This journey you are on to make money, to improve your current living conditions, to be more in control of your time and also your earning potential, to be able to do the type of work you truly enjoy and look forward to waking up to everyday.

Money alone will not be a motivator in the long run and so while you are working and looking to create multiple income streams, you have to consider what you are truly looking to get from your business journey and what you will like to do on this business journey that you plan to work so hard on. Where you will spend a great deal of your time, energy, efforts, to build and run and grow.

We invest so much into our Business Journey, we invest our time, energy and our money into our businesses, and sometimes we forget where we are heading. We tend to loose the direction we were going and also what the reason was for us starting our business journey in the first place. Sometimes we look back and regret even getting started and simply because we had a rough start and are struggling to get by, depending on what your business journey has provided for you so far.

Realize that a Entrepreneur traveling down this Daily Business Journey Super Highway, you will need to learn to deal with the difficulties that will come along, otherwise if your looking to surpass the 5 year mark and 10 year mark, you will need to learn to truly build a strong foundation from the beginning.

Of course it’s not going to be an easy path and will not happen overnight, but if you are willing to be determined and are looking to take the leap towards the success you are looking for, it can and it will happen.

You must “Learn To Invest In Yourself” before you can jump into investing in anything else, we all look for the big payday but we must learn to believe in our own abilities and trust in our hearts and in our ability to learn from those more knowledeable then ourselves. To take that knowledge and advice, to embark on our journey of finding our own voice and looking back upon our core values to help drive us and help us to achieve knew highs, also to decrease our risk factors this will serve to be the best of any lessons taught.

Drive yourself and believe in yourself, by coming up with ideas, plans, taking daily action and also steadily learning while your earning. As employees and as business owners we must learn to increase our skills in our chosen professions and also learning to invest in the our dreams and in balancing out our time and money making abilities.
